To the Sacred Heart Middle School family, on behalf of myself and the faculty and staff, I want to wish all of you a very blessed Easter. During this most crucial time, it is important that we continue to have and faith and believe in the power of prayer. I have included different resources for you to participate in different church services throughout these most sacred days of our church calendar. May God Bless each and everyone of you and I look forward to seeing all of you again at our beloved school.
"These are the Times That Try Men's (and Women's) Souls." Loosely quoting Thomas Paine regarding the American Revolution. As you may know from everything being said this health crisis will be getting worse before it gets better. We may be out of school for much longer than originally thought and our goal is to educate your children in a meaningful way so when we get back we can pick up where we left off. We have learned to be flexible in our delivery of instruction over the past week! Our faculty is committed to helping students with sending work through emails and despite the obstacles we are communicating with our families on a daily basis! We will learn and grow from this crisis and become stronger as a family! #HeartStrong

Calling all Sacred Heart Middle School Students and Families! Sign-up for the Chris Corbett Memorial 5K that will be taking place on a day to be determined by Race Officials at Holy Cross High School. New this year is a Technology Grant based on participation of Catholic school students. Since it is based on percentage of students participating for each school, the more students registering the better our chances! Be sure to select Sacred Heart Middle School on the form when you sign-up using the link below. I hope we can represent SHMS well in our first year! https://runsignup.com/Race/CT/Waterbury/ChrisCorbett5K
